Every Gerard Rene signature is an architectural masterpiece, commissioned with the intention to endure. We stand behind the structural integrity of our creations and the authenticity of the materials we use. Each piece is a symbol of lasting craftsmanship and legacy.

The Two-Year Maintenance Window

For the first 24 months following the acquisition of your signature, the Atelier provides complimentary refinishing and structural inspections. This ensures your piece seamlessly integrates into your lifestyle, retaining its beauty and integrity over time. Shipping and insurance during transit remain the responsibility of the collector, as we recommend insured transit for the safe return of your signature.

Integrity of the Work

To preserve the provenance and structural security of your Gerard Rene creation, all alterations, sizing, or engravings must be performed exclusively by our Atelier. Any modifications executed by external parties will terminate our stewardship obligations and formal guarantees of the piece’s integrity.

The Seal of Provenance

Every creation is struck with the Gerard Rene Maker’s Mark—a physical guarantee of origin and a permanent entry into the Atelier’s private registry. This mark serves as the definitive anchor of the piece’s provenance. Any alteration that obscures or compromises this seal constitutes a fundamental break in the work’s biographical record.

Limitations of Coverage

While our creations are crafted for enduring beauty, jewelry is inherently subject to the laws of nature. Our stewardship does not cover:

  • Normal wear, surface patina, or accidental trauma.

  • Loss or theft of the piece (The Atelier recommends a dedicated private insurance policy).

  • Stone loss resulting from external impact or structural tampering.

  • Crown settings or delicate artisanal elements requiring specific care.

Terms of Acquisition

Each Gerard Rene creation is a singular work of artistry, commissioned and crafted exclusively for the collector. As such, all acquisitions are final; bespoke and personalized pieces are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

The Correction Protocol

In the rare event of a structural or artisanal defect, the Atelier will undertake a comprehensive remake to restore the work to its original excellence. Notification must be made within 21 days of delivery, and the piece must be returned, unworn, within 30 days of authorization. All remakes undergo rigorous inspection to ensure the integrity of the original design.

A Lifetime Stewardship protocol is available for our High Jewelry signatures, ensuring the preservation of your piece’s legacy for generations. Please inquire for private terms.
